
Sharoma Scurry-Graves

Sharoma Scurry-Graves is from Far Rockaway, New York, by way of Georgia. She currently resides in Houston, TX with her husband and two children. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Grambling State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston.

Sharoma is also the Founder of The Michelle Project, a nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive, holiday-inspired educational programs. Through storytelling and community service, she is committed to ensuring all youth feel valued and have opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.

Sharoma is a proud member of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Grambling State University National Alumni Association.
